Stamping On The Stars
The Little Horn And Literal Prophecy
never cease to be amazed at the sheer stupidity of certain Bible teachers – usually espousing a physical Jewish primary to prophecy – who insist that Bible predictions must be literal. Worse yet, they ascribe evil to those who can see the obvious Spiritual application of prophecy. Of course, this is not an issue of human kind’s emotionally driven intellect (i.e. flesh and blood) which fails to see the truth, for this has to do with Spiritual discernment.
However, when a supposedly Biblically literate teacher tells us that he or she is “concerned” about non-literal interpretive teaching, it’s difficult not to wince at those who are foolish enough to say that all prophecy is literal. Even setting aside the talking trees which rejoice that no lumberjack is around to cut them down during the millennial reign (Isaiah 14:8), or the “mountains [which] shall be melted” with the blood of the wicked (Isaiah 34:3), it is obvious the Scriptures are positively overflowing with prophetic metaphor.
One of the more intriguing futurist pictures is related to the Little Horn power, which pulls down to the earth a portion of those who dwell in heaven, and stamps upon them:
”And out of one of them came forth a little horn…and it waxed great, even to the host of heaven; and it cast down some of the host and of the stars to the ground, and stamped upon them” (Daniel 8:9, 10).
As the LORD revealed well over 20 years ago the symbolic outline of the four precedent powers of Britain, Russia, Germany, and America, via the sequence of the four successive Beast kingdoms imaged as the lion, bear, leopard, and diverse beast in Daniel 7, His Spirit then primed me to receive the knowledge the Little Horn is directly related to the small state of Israel – which arrives in the contemporary timeline after the quartet just mentioned.
Heresy to vast numbers of Judaeo-Christians who bought the myth of rotating salvation espoused by the Rapture Cult, wherein the Jewish people are still “chosen” based upon their flesh and blood, the truth is the wholesale rejection of Christ on the part of Israel is the quintessential definition of Antichrist. Predictably, this identification is fiercely resisted because the office of Antichrist is closely associated with the entity known as the Little Horn. Nevertheless, with the sequential kingdoms of Daniel 7 terminating in America, a political powerhouse which engineered its international monetary power through the petrodollar system flowing through the ten member oil cartel known as OAPEC (the Organization of Arab Petroleum Exporting Countries), we may link the modern emergence of the Little Horn state with that of the return of the Fig Tree to the Middle East, under the watchful eye of the USA:
“And he spake to them a parable: Behold the fig tree, and all the trees: When they now shoot forth…know ye that the kingdom of God is nigh at hand” (Luke 21:29-31).
The return of the Little Horn in 1948 coincided with the beginning of the Baby Boom – predicted by Christ to be just “as it was in the days of Noah…when men began to multiply on the face of the earth” (Luke 17:26, Genesis 6;1).
As the believers in our “evil and adulterous generation” (Matthew 12:39) have progressively left their first love, and embraced the other gospel of Jewish primacy, in reality the only real Jew is a Christian who has experienced the circumcision of the heart (Romans 2:29). Meanwhile, the ungodly resurrection of the physical, Christ-rejecting nation of Israel also fulfills the Beast cycle in Revelation. We note, for example, that Rapture Cultists who tell us Israel was saved, is not saved now, but will be saved during the tribulation, are articulating that very pattern of perdition:
“The beast that thou sawest was, and is not; and shall ascend out of the bottomless pit, and go into perdition” (Revelation 17:8).
With Israel’s destruction in 70 AD, the nation began the “is not” stage of the cycle, but it has now ascended out of the bottomless pit of human political endeavor, where it has steadily grown to be a significant world power.
“And there was given unto him a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies…” (Revelation 13:5).
The collective, physical rejection of Christ is said to cause the name of God to be blasphemed through the Jewish people – again connecting Israel to Antichrist:
“Behold, thou art called a Jew….and art confident that thou thyself art a guide of the blind, a light of them which are in darkness. For the name of God is blasphemed among the Gentiles through you, as it is written” (Romans 2:19, 24).
Revelation connects the “great things” spoken by the Antichrist beast, to the “great things” spoken by the Little Horn, via the blasphemies of those who assert a Jewish identity in the flesh, when Romans 2 tells us the only genuine Jew is in Christ:
“I know the blasphemy of them which say they are Jews, and are not, but are the synagogue of Satan” (Revelation 2:9).
When the “Christians” assert the apostate Israelis are actually the chosen people who will lead the world through the end times (as the 144,000 described in Revelation), the believers echo the Little Horn’s blasphemy of God, and they fall from their position in the heavenly places, as the elect of God.
“Blessed be the God and father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessing in heavenly places in Christ…when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places. And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus” (Ephesians 1:3, 20; 2:6).
As the aggressive Jewish rejection of Christ continues its rise to global dominion, the nation that reviles JESUS is seen as the Little Horn, who blasphemes the LORD Himself:
“Yea, he magnified himself even to the prince of the host…and he shall magnify himself in his heart....He shall also stand up against the Prince of princes…” (Daniel 8:11, 25).
When the body of Christ relinquishes their unique position as sons and daughter of God, and turns to follow the agenda which engineers a new international order with flesh and blood Israel given a special status as the so called “covenant nation,” the believer’s fall from heaven is Spiritually related to the earthly rise of the Little Horn. Indeed, since the Little Horn opposes Christ as the “Prince of the host” (Daniel 8:11), and we are now seated in Him, the believers are in view as those who are cast to the ground via the Spiritual power of the apostate nation:
“And it waxed great, even to the host of heaven; and it cast down some of the host and of the stars to the ground, and stamped upon them…and it cast down the truth to the ground” (Daniel 8:11, 12).
It is self evident this fall from heaven occurs in the realm of the Spirit, but the hapless people of the end times have been taught to monitor the actions of the physical political state, and to think in terms of externals, rather than the substance, which is in the heavenlies. Indeed, the New Testament tells us that before Christ raised us up to sit in heavenly places with Him through His resurrection, physical Israel functioned as a shadow of things to come; but the substance is clearly taught to be in the realm of the Spirit in Christ:
“We have such an high priest, who is set on the right hand of the throne of the majesty in the heavens…[but the things] on earth…serve unto the example and shadow of heavenly things [and]…are a shadow of things to come; but the body is of Christ” (Hebrews 8:1, 5, 10:1; Colossians 2:17).
Thus, when the Little Horn goes to war against the Saints (through the “casting down” of the truth), we are being told this battle occurs in the Spirit; and if we respond favorably to the false gospel, we will have fallen from our heavenly position in Christ:
“I beheld, and the same horn made war with the saints, and prevailed against them…” (Daniel 7:21).
A precious few have realized this war is waged against those in the Kingdom of God (the host of heaven), and it is energized through the power of the Little Horn’s blasphemy of Jesus Christ.
“And it was given unto him to make war with the saints…[but remember] we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places” (Ephesians 6:12).
Thus, the war the Little Horn wages against the Saints is in the hearts and minds of the Christians, as the Kingdom of God is within you. The Scripture is being fulfilled, as the Little Horn is prevailing, largely because many of the Saints have been deceived concerning their true standing as sons and daughter of God. Again, as the seed of God, we are now seated in heavenly places in Christ. Regrettably, as the host and the stars of heaven, many believers are listening to the seducing spirits in the False Prophet, and voluntarily ceding their standing in Christ, thereby falling to the death inherent in the Little Horn.
----- James Lloyd
The New Testament Gospel “once delivered to the saints” (Jude 1:3) teaches us the LORD Jesus Christhas translated all who trust in Him into “the kingdom of his dear Son” (Colossians 1:13), and those Bible teachers who lead their flocks back into earthly bondage, through the other gospel of Judaeo-Christianity, will be judged severely. The truth about the identity of political Israel as the Little Horn is addressed in the James Lloyd DVD THE LITTLE HORN.
