We Three Horns Of Orient Are

he 19th century Christmas carol, celebrating the Magi’s pilgrimage to Bethlehem (which starts out with the now famous lyric “We three kings of Orient Are”), is about to be transformed into a bitter lament, as current military movements are pointing us to the uprooting of the three horns of power seen in theLittle Horn prophecies of Daniel.

Unfortunately, the present international tensions centered around Syria, have many Bible prophecy teachers rather gleefully focusing on the fulfillment ofIsaiah 17 – the notorious passage which forecasts the devastation of Damascus:

“Behold, Damascus is taken away from being a city, and it shall be a ruinous heap” (Isaiah 17:1).

Those who are hoping to see the Damascus prophecy fulfilled never take into account the anguish of the Syrian Christian community – sandwiched in between the mounting antagonism directed towards the state of Israel by the Assad regime, and the aspirations of the Islamic radicals who oppose him – with the rebels consisting of a vile coalition of misfits, energized by the political machinations of the despicable American government.

While significant numbers of Christians perceive the forthcoming slaughter of Syria with righteous indignation for their ongoing opposition to their version of the “chosen people,” a Scriptural perspective is decidedly different. The fact is, the triad of Syria, Lebanon, and Iran, armed to the teeth and having long prepared for a deadly showdown with the Little Horn state of Israel, is about to fulfill the tragic prophecy of Daniel 7:

“…behold, a fourth beast [read America], dreadful and terrible….and it had ten horns. I considered the horns, and, behold, there came up among them another little horn, before whom there were three of the first horns plucked up by the roots….” (Daniel 7:8)

As a direct result of the widespread misread of Bible prophecy, the alleged believers who are immersed in the Antichrist fraud which posits the Jewish people are still scheduled for redemption during the tribulational cycle, now find themselves likeminded with the criminal militancy of US President Barack Obama. Others are more pragmatic concerning the duplicity of the pretender in chief, and believe the devastation to come is part of the LORD’s alleged plan to move the people of Israel closer to a supposed foreordained reconciliation with Jesus Christ.

Even non-discerning political observers are aware of the fact that Syria will not fall without an all out effort from Tehran and Hezbollah in Lebanon – a fact that will compel the conflict to escalate towards a winner take all worldview. To put it another way, the “dreadful and terrible” beast of the American military machine, quietly driven from behind the curtain by the Little Horn state of Israel, is destined to participate in a full scale conflict with three nations, as opposed to the single state of Syria.

More than one scenario is still possible, but they all end up with the trio of Iran, Syria, and Lebanon devastated – “plucked up by the roots” in Daniel’s parlance. For instance, Barack Obama may yet back off from the role of the aggressor, forcing Tel Aviv itself to take the lead with weapons of mass destruction. In fact, it is likely the Obama WAR Beast prefers to engineer regime change individually and gradually, as has been the case with Iraq, Egypt, and Libya (yet another manifestation of “three horns” who consecutively fell before the Beast power).

The minute details of the prophetic fulfillment notwithstanding, the crucial component is the Spiritual identities involved, for the nation-state of Israel is indeed Antichrist to the core, and the “Christian” forfeiture of their own chosen status before the LORD is a heresy of the first magnitude. Worse yet, we now find significant numbers of “believers” who think it is just and appropriate for America to mete out judgment to Israel’s enemies, largely rationalizing the coming carnage with the vague consolation that we’re fulfilling God’s will in defending the so-called “apple of His eye” (Zechariah 2:8).

The truth of the matter is the Little Horn state of Israel is Israel in name only; for with the coming of the New Covenant, God reshaped the body of His chosen along Spiritual lines – as opposed to a racial configuration seen in the Old Covenant. The Christians, who are this very Spiritual construct identified as “the Israel of God” in Galatians 6:16, are infected with the political correctness which identifies the truth of the matter as “anti-Semitism” – a decidedly non-Scriptural term devised by the beneficiaries of the Antichrist role reversal.

A recognition of one’s true identity in prophecy does not denote a political hostility, either. The genuine Christian, who is indeed a member of the “Remnant of Israel,” views unregenerate Jews in the same light as the Gentile nations who also need the life of Jesus Christ. Thus, as Jesus told the disciples who errantly thought to destroy the Samaritans who rejected Him, we are to offer life to all who will receive Him:

“The Son of man is not come to destroy men’s lives, but to save them” (Luke 9:56).

However, those who claim to have entered in to the Gospel, but instead have absorbed another gospel, are walking in darkness, and the light of the LORD is not in them. Those who forfeit the blood-bought standing of the Christian as those whom Jesus chose (John 15:16), and trade away their position as “all Israel” to those who are “not Israel” (Romans 2:28), are committing a form of the Abomination of Desolation.

The Blasphemy of the Holy Spirit is to consistently resist the Holy Ghost’s efforts to lead us to all truth, and when the professing “Christian” clearly does not have the truth, but trusts in, clings to, and relies upon the racist, other gospel of Jewish primacy, he or she has allowed the Son of Perdition to occupy their Spiritual “temple” – a fulfillment of II Thessalonians 2.

Such are a part of the apostasia – the “falling away” – and their individual participation in the identity seen as the collective “man of sin,” has been revealed, as the proverbial son of perdition:

“Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God” (II Thessalonians 2:4).

Thus, those who experience a kinship and an affinity with the Little Horn, as the Antichrist, even as that wicked maneuvers behind the scenes to kill and torment its perceived enemies, will find themselves at the Great White Throne judgment, prepared for the Devil and his angels.
